Philip Mackowiak, ’70, former professor and vice chair of Maryland’s department of internal medicine, and currently the Medical Alumni Association Carolyn Frenkil and Selvin Passen Scholar in the History of Medicine, discusses his third history book entitled Patients as Art: Forty Thousand Years of Medical History in Drawings, Paintings, and Sculptures. This interactive presentation focuses on one of its chapters.
